LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 walkthrough livestream date confirmed

The date BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 LEGO sets will receive their official walkthrough videos has now been confirmed.

Ahead of crowdfunding opening next week, the walkthroughs have become a key part of each series’ rollout, offering a closer look at design details, scale, and potential changes before supporters commit.

On June 3 at 8pm BST, a livestream featuring all of the walkthroughs will go live, compiling the full set of videos in one place.

Crowdfunding for all five Series 8 sets begins on June 9 at 4pm BST and will remain open until June 18 at 4pm BST, or until all sets sell out. Buyers will be limited to two copies of each set, with any project receiving more than 3,000 pre-orders moving into production.

While BrickLink Designer Program sets are typically capped at 30,000 units, this series will continue the recent dynamic allocation model, meaning more popular sets could exceed that limit by drawing production capacity from less in-demand models.

Series 8 brings together a diverse range of fan creations, including a colourful hot air balloon build, a large-scale university-inspired model, and castle-themed designs that continue the programme’s strong medieval influence.

With funding just days away, the walkthroughs offer the final opportunity to assess detail, scale, and overall presentation before decisions are made.
