LEGO 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne's Books officially revealed

The LEGO Group has officially revealed 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne's Books, a gift-with-purchase coming our way in the near future.

Confirmation of the GWP first popped up via the Buildings Instructions portal over the weekend, but the LEGO Group has now published a full product listing for 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne's Books at LEGO.com. Packing 351 pieces and intended for builders aged 12 and up, the model pays homage to the venerated author’s most iconic works of fiction.

Featured novels include Around the World in Eighty Days, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and Five Weeks in a Balloon, all presented in an open brick-built book – a format borrowed from previous GWPs such as 2018’s 40291 Creative Personalities. The model also includes a Jules Verne minifigure, and stands 11cm tall, 15cm wide and 14cm deep when complete.

There’s no official word yet on when exactly 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne's Books will be available at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores, nor how much you’ll need to spend to acquire it, but more details will hopefully emerge in the next few days.
