12,000-piece LEGO Architecture set rumoured for 2026

2026 is shaping up to be another record-breaking year for the LEGO Group, as a 12,000-piece LEGO Architecture set is now rumoured to be on the cards.

BrickTap reports that of the four Architecture sets currently rumoured for 2026 – only one of which has been revealed so far in 21064 Paris – City of Love – one will include more than 12,000 pieces and retail for $600 in the US. That would make it the biggest LEGO set of all time by piece count, outstripping 10307 Eiffel Tower’s 10,001 pieces and even 31203 World Map’s 11,695 pieces.

Exactly what that record-breaking set could be (or even which product number it’s attached to) is still a mystery at this stage, but there are plenty of options out there. One strong contender could well be the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, with construction of its central tower scheduled to be completed in 2026, 100 years after architect Antoni Gaudi passed away.

That’s really only speculation at this stage with very little else to go on, so let us know your suggestions for a 12,000-piece LEGO Architecture set in the comments, and in the meantime take this rumour with the customary pinch of salt.

For now, 21064 Paris – City of Love will be available to purchase from January 1, 2026. Our review is already available to peruse here.
